Those follies are not misdemeanors, they are serious crimes. Musharraf can easily be found guilty of high treason and executed by a firing squad. Overthrowing a democratically elected government, changing the constitution and complete destruction of constitutional bodies like Supreme Court makes him a good candidate to be shot.
